A collection of folk songs—with lyrics primarily written by Ginsberg—with the help of Bob Dylan, Peter Orlovsky, Arthur Russel, and others. Among the 24 tracks are “Dope Fiend Blues,” “You Are My Dildo,” “Gospel Nobel Truths,” “Bus Ride Ballad to Suva,” “CIA Dope Calypso,” “Vomit Express,” “Sickness Blues.” Songs range from near-spoken word poetry to bluesy jams and striking beautiful ballads. A beautiful copy with a couple small tears and creases on the bottom edge, a faint stain on the bottom edge near “Kepler’s Books,” and “#9” in red pen on verso (does not show through). Shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
