Includes extensive sections on horses (plus training), cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, and dogs, as well as a miscellanea dealing with instruments, apparatus, and medicines. The closing “departments” deal with “practical remedies and recipes from farmers and stock owners” and the “profitable breeding of livestock.” First Edition.
