Nandy (1951-) is an award-winning (including the E.M. Forster Literary Award and the International Humanitarian Award) Indian writer, politician, and television personality. Having published nearly twenty volumes of poetry since 1967, this is the author’s second collection. The Writers Workshop is a Calcutta-based literary publisher founded by the poet-professor Purushottama Lal (P. Lal) in 1958. Over the next few decades it published many new authors of post-independence urban literature, many of these authors later became important. Text is in English. Dust jacket present. First Edition.
