This is a complete set of The American Magazine, 8 issues, housed in a custom slipcase. All eight issues are in near fine condition with only the faintest signs of shelf wear and a light crease on the upper right corner of Vol. 1 No. 2. The slipcase is in fine condition, wine-colored cloth with a paper label. The American Magazine was published in two different sizes: the first four are 9 by 6 inches; the last four are 7 by 10 inches. All fit nicely into the slipcase. No writing, names, or bookplate. A complete run of The American Magazine and Historical Chronicle from the William L. Clements Library of American History, University of Michigan. Eight issues from Vol. 1 No. 1 (1985) through the final issue, Vol 4 No. 2 (1988-89). First Edition.
