LP, red vinyl in original sleeve, 33 1/3 rpm. LP is good with only lights scratches. The audio is good with no skips, only light crackling. The sleeve has rubbing, with Detroit Public Schools stamps and shelf numbers in black marker, and a spot of skinning where a label or tape was removed. There is one Detroit label and some ink notes on the LP label. “Get ready to listen, to listen hard…” Section 1 Disc A/B in a series of records designed to introduce student to different jobs, “a job that could be your type of job.” Side A brings us two gentlemen that discuss their daily tasks as claimsmen and insurance adjusters, followed a stern talk from the narrator about being a man and a man’s work. Side B, “being an airline ticket agent is one kind of man’s work,” and a man who works at a Chicago O’Hare ticket counter discusses his trade.
