There is a small label (4 by 1.2 cm) for the Macquarie Book Club, Parramatta (a suburb of Sydney, Australia) on the front pastedown. An affectionate account of the Australian poet Chris Brennan by the bookseller who first published him: “The firm of Geo. B. Philip & Son will live in the annals of Australian Literature as the publishers of the first edition of Christopher Brennan’s Poems in 1913, and the writer was singled out for that honour…” First Edition.
