A documentary-style presentation about Berkeley’s Free Speech Movement that began on 17 September, 1964, when student political organizations were prohibited from setting up tables to solicit funds or advocate off-campus political activity, until 8 December of the same year when the Academic Senate rescinded bans on political activities and speech. The LP includes a chronological retelling of events, recordings of speeches, audio of police attempting to break up sit-ins, and Joan Baez singing at one of the protests. (os)
