Staple-bound, card wraps, 21.7 by 28 cm, 14 pp. Very good with light yellowing around the edges of the covers and a faint crease from where the booklet was folded in half lengthwise at some point. A history of the nail from its earliest examples, the Lapstrake Hull and rivets, Vikings, early Venetian and French examples, right up to modern mass production. Published for presentation at the Center for Wooden Boats, Seattle Wooden Boat Show, in July 1981. (os) First Edition.
