As this interest has matured, there has been an increased attention to accuracy and authenticity of details such as the textiles used in a miniature home or setting. Concurrently with this boom in miniatures there has been a trend among some weavers toward use of finer threads in loom-controlled waves to produce fine fabrics. In this monograph we bring together those two interests of dollhouse-furnishing and ‘small-minded’ weaving. The instructions and drafts are designed to be used by an experienced loom-weaver to create textiles in miniature scale (primarily 1”/1’) for authentic dollhouse interiors or other small projects.”
