Second printing of the second edition, revised and enlarged. Staple-bound card wraps, 13.7 by 21.3 cm, [vi] 134 pp., heavily illustrated, with a 2 by 2.5 cm sample of brain-tanned buckskin stapled to the upper corner of the back cover. Very good with light tanning along the spine and a faint “old book” odor. “This booklet began with my desire to share the methods I have successfully used to produce brain-tanned buckskin. I believe that anyone with deer hides, indoor or outdoor working areas, a few home-fashioned tools, a little common sense and alot of old fashioned hard work should be able to make and wear his own.” Detailed and well-illustrated.
