Full vellum with gilt spine decorations and burgundy and black leather spine labels with gilt titles, 12.4 by 20.3 cm, xiii (1) 125 xii pp. Light rubbing and stains to the boards with chipping to the spine labels. There is a light crease to the upper board where, at one, time, the lower corner of the book near the foot of the spine was bent—and remains slightly bent, with slight bowing of the upper board. The leaves are foxed throughout—heavily at times, though no text is obscured—with an illegible stamp on the upper corner of the title page. No other marks or writing. Housed is a sturdy, custom clamshell box with tan cloth over boards and red cloth lining. Text is in Italian.
