Glossy wraps, 17,7 by 22.9 cm, v [i] 194 pp. plus an 8-page section of black and white photographs and maps at the front. Unfortunately, the poor quality perfect-bound binding is brittle and the first and last few leave are loose. It looks like some leaves at the front were glued back in, but this is a reading copy only that will probably come apart when used. Otherwise, the covers are very good and the text is clean and bright. A scarce and well-written memoir of a Michigan soldier, with the U.S. Army’s Thirty-Second Division, and his time serving during World War I.
