Sewn wraps, 16.5 by 24.2 cm, 205 [2] pp., illus. Heavy chips, tears, creases, and wear to the wraps. There is a 1969 gift inscription on the inside of the front cover. The textblock is very good aside from a few turned page corners and a name that has been rubbed off the half-title page. The mull extends well beyond the spine between the covers and first and last leaves that makes me think, though I know little of Norwegian publishing, that this paperback edition was an afterthought or it was intended as a temporary binding and meant to be put in boards.
