Lightly soiled and worn covers, tears on the ffep and half-title page, a contemporary name, city and date (Amsterdam, 1898) on the ffep along with a more modern name in ballpoint. This copy has a pressed flower pinned to a blank page verso a map of Tourni, with a light pencil inscription that tells where the Buttercups were picked in – I think – 1898.
